A Maddy-Boo and Paigey-Poo Update

When Paige turned 3 months old in November I said to myself I need to update the blog. Then she turned 4 months... and then 6 months and I told myself the same thing.

Well here it is, mid-March, and here I sit, attempting to catch up on the last few months' events!

December:
Christmas time is so fun with Maddy at this age. She gets so excited about the lights and decorations and, of course, presents!! We attempted Santa pics this year again even though last year was a big FAIL with Santa DQ! Maddy decided she didn't want to take a picture with Santa so I didn't push her to. It was no big deal, and Paige got a great picture!
Ten minutes later Maddy decided she DID want to, but only if she could sit on my lap. The photographers (I use that term loosely!) heard that and said if I put her on the knee closest to Santa and leaned all the way to the other side, they could crop me out. Sounds great, right? Um, not so much!
Christmas morning
Maddy's favorite present on Christmas morning was the Disney Princess dresses she got from Santa. Even if his thunder was stolen a little by Ella's gift, which she had already opened a week earlier! A girl can never have too many dress up clothes... or clips in her hair, apparently!

January:
I couldn't believe Paige became old enough to start solids, but she did...
and I think she likes it!

February:
I have always loved Tet, and now I love it even more with the girls.
Maddy has perfected her "chuc mung nam moi" for li xi's and she is obsessed with wearing ao dai's! She even played a little bit of bo cua this year. As far as mua lan is concerned, it's a love/hate relationship. She LOVES to watch from afar, but HATES if ong dia gets too close.
Paige, on the other hand, was not the least bit phased by the drums or dragons of mua lan.

The Scaredy Cat Club
They are all looking at the camera, and most are smiling -
what an accomplishment!

I hope the year of the rabbit brings everyone much love, luck and prosperity!

Till next time....
