Day 6: history

Today after swim I decided to eat out and not fight traffic home.
In the history of my tenure as a mom, I don't think I have ever had such an uneventful, successful meal out with my two monsters, er, kids. And especially not when I'm playing single mom!

Day 5: appreciation

for miss nora! 
last summer maddy one day just started swimming.  it was a sight to see!  it was so unexpected, and took us by surprise!
but then summer passed and when we started to get back into a pool occasionally, she was timid to let go and swim.  but after a few minutes with miss nora today she was back at it like a champ!  and she kept her goggles on the whole time!
on the way home, she kept proudly talking about how miss nora said she was a swimmer and how she can't wait until she gets to swim on the  deep side of the pool!

Lovely day for a "picnic" lunch at Discovery Green with my BFF to do a little catching up!
